I am really into these redesigned Kafka covers done by Peter Mendelsund at Knopf.

Today I start my Working with Wax and Casting class at Lillstreet Art Center. I really, really want to make a little triangle ring and maybe a “diamond” ring in brass. Hopefully some time in the not so distant future I’ll be able to post photos of what I’ve made!

So, enough with my grumpiness. Time to say goodbye to the past year and usher the new one in the right way…with lists.

- Moved in with my sweet BF - Drove to Michigan lots times - Was laid off (funemployment, what what?!) - Started a great new job - Got a fancy camera - Started my Etsy shop and this blog - Went to my 5 year college reunion
